Panama Maritime Authority has issued the Circular MMC-195 providing revised requirements for LRIT Conformance TEST, see Circular attached.
- Starting July 1, 2023, all conformance test reports issued on behalf of Panama will be issued as electronic document in digitally signed PDF format, its means that the supplier will not send the hard copy of this Certificate, in this respect not need to pay the Courier expenses.
- The validity of this Conformance test will be one (1) year after the date of issue.
- The Conformance Test is now required to be carried out Annually, after one year from the initial test performed to the Vessel after its registration in Panama.
- To comply with this Annual Conformance test, exisiting Panama flagged vessels have to complete this test as follows:
